Welcome to AlpacaConnect Site Features and Help Pages. Here you will find information about Navigation, Creating Content, and Managing your account.
Navigation: Top Navigational Buttons
AlpacaConnect.com is divided into four main areas: Alpaca Listings, Profiles, Marketplace, and Community. As you explore AlpacaConnect.com, you will always have the top Navigational bar displayed. By clicking on the desired area on the navigation bar, the blue button will turn green to indicate the area of the site that you are in. The AlpacaConnect Logo is a link back to the home page of the site.
The Guided Search:
AlpacaConnect.com has designed a guided search function for the site. Unlike traditional searches where a user must input search fields with a series of steps, our 
guided search allows you to quickly refine your search without having to start a search from scratch. You can start your search with any category and then start narrowing in to your desired search criteria. This makes it easy to reduce the number of listings in the results page and also allows you to increase results by removing categories to broaden your search. The [x] will remove the category and any words in blue will add that selection to your search. You can also see how many listings are in each category indicated by a number in brackets (12).
Creating Content
Once you have created your account on AlpacaConnect you will have access to a top green bar that allows you to manage and create content on the site.
As a free member you will be able to create Articles, Events, and join in the Forum Discussions. You will also have access to your account information where you can manage your content and create a favorites list as you discover content on the site that you wish to bookmark for future reference. *See Control Panelbelow* If you have joined as a Gold or Silver Member, you will find additional links in the drop-down menu that will give you access to Alpaca, Product and Service listings creation. Each link will bring you to the appropriate content submission screen where you can create the desired content.
Profile Pages and Snap Shot:
At the heart of AlpacaConnect are the Profile Pages that are set up by our members with a Silver or Gold Membership level. Your profile page displays your business details, pictures, Alpaca Listings, Products Listings and Service Listings. Products and Services can be linked directly to your PayPal account making shopping easy for customers that wish to buy your products. 
The Profile Snap Shot will always be displayed beside any of you products or services found on AlpacaConnect, thus linking your content directly to your profile and providing easy access to your contacts, website and details.
